- Efficient and Utility-Oriented: The Bering Cookstove is a versatile, cost-effective diesel-burning stove that provides comfortable, dry heat. It also features a cast iron cooktop for cooking, with the chimney outlet on the right side.
- Easy Installation:
- Requires 5” diameter chimney parts.
- Ideal chimney length is 6ft with no elbows, but a minimum of 4ft and a maximum of 8ft is required.
- For chimneys 6ft or longer, a barometric damper is highly recommended.
- Needs a permanent fresh air vent in the unit's area.
- Design Features:
- Stylish laser-cut design in 304 stainless steel.
- Produces dry heat to eliminate moisture inside the vessel.
- Sailboat Installation:
- Must face fore or aft. For port or starboard facing, mount the valve on the side to ensure proper fuel flow, especially on heels up to 15 degrees.
- Draft Assist Fan:
- Includes a 12v fan for start-up and draft assistance (can be converted to 24v and 32v). Refer to the fan wiring diagram.
- Fuel Options:
- Comes with a valve factory set for #2 diesel, but valves for kerosene & #1 diesel are also available.
- Hot Water Options:
- Can add a 1-turn hot water coil to heat 5-10 gallons of water. For larger quantities, a 2-turn coil can heat 15-20 gallons.
